I am a native of the North Georgia mountains. I am not your typical
Realtor. Don't expect a Barbie Doll, I'm usually in my jeans
and hiking boots, not a dress & heels. I love to walk & show property and will be right with you til we find that missing corner. I enjoy finding that perfect home for my customers
& clients, welcoming them to the slower & easier lifestyle of mountain life and
helping them fit in, in their new surroundings.
I love to ride my Harley, but, don't worry, I won't come to pick you up and
expect you to ride behind, unless you ask. I'm just a blessed person who
loves life & believes that putting on a front is not part of my job description.
What you see is what you get. I'm a person who will treat you kindly and
honestly, in any situation. I have been very blessed & hope I bless others
I come in contact with.
I opened Appalachian Realty in 1986 because I wanted to help people find their
dreams in these mountains, just as I had found mine several years before.
I am driven by my passion for real estate. I enjoy meeting
people, making friends and helping others.
My husband, Bruce, and I moved to Gilmer County in 1981. We have seen the
growth and change here, but much of our county has maintained it's peacefulness and
beauty, in
part, because of the large area of Chattahoochee National Forest that surrounds
us. The beauty and abundant wildlife have drawn nature lovers from all
over the country and make living here a wonderful privilege
and blessing.
I am a Leave No Trace Master Educator, Stock Use, which means I teach people how
to take care of our mountains and forests (specializing in horse/trail
riders/campers) and, generally, how to lower their impact on their surroundings
& leave their environment better than they found it. I teach LNT Awareness
Workshops & Trainer's Courses. If you are interested in participating in

I am a Life Member of the NE GA Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club, an

Buyers Agent
and an

internet professional.
I specialize in
locating just the right property for my clients. I go above and

I grew up riding horses in the North Georgia mountains and I know our mountains
are one of his finest works. I am proud that he has made me a steward of the land.

I love my horses, but I love to ride my bike, too!
If you ride either, you'll be in heaven in our beautiful area. We have the
Chattahoochee National Forest surrounding us and currently we can ride cross
country and on miles of old trails and forest roads.
The Tail of
the Dragon, the Hellbender, the Cherohala Skyway, NC 28, GA's Richard Russell
Scenic Hwy, Hwy 60 South, Hwy 19/129 and Hwy 180 are just a few of the
fantastic, twisty & scenic roads that we bikers love!
